Steven Pierce is a life long resident of Fairmont, graduated from Fairmont High School in 1972. He obtained a degree in accounting St John's University, in 1976 and a CPA certificate in 1978. After working for several years at a local firm, Steve opened the firm Steven E Pierce CPA in 1980. Over the years there have been several changes in location. In 2001, Steve and Carol Pierce acquired the Old Post Office in Fairmont from the United States Government, rehabilitated the building according to preservation standards, and the firm now occupies the south half of that building. The building itself was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in May of 2008. |
